Role Types
Archway has three roles for team members, plus a special role for customers:
Admin
Full access to all features
Manage team members (invite, change roles, remove)
Manage billing and subscription
Configure organization settings (deploy approval, etc.)
Approve or reject bridge deployments (when approval is required)
Download agreement templates
Deploy bridges directly (bypasses approval requirement)
SE (Sales Engineer)
Create, edit, and deploy bridges
Manage customers and secrets
View analytics and monitoring data
Run security reviews
Hand off bridges to other team members
Cannot manage team members or billing
Deploys may require admin approval (if enabled)
Viewer
Read-only access to dashboards, bridges, and analytics
Cannot create, edit, or deploy bridges
Cannot manage secrets or customers
Useful for managers or stakeholders who need visibility
Customer
Access only the Customer Portal (separate app)
View bridge status and execution metrics
Provide credential values for secrets
View reports configured by the SE
Authenticated via magic link (no password)
