Customer Can't Access Portal

Common Issues

Magic Link Not Received

  • Check spam/junk folders

  • Verify the customer's email address is correct in the customer record

  • Make sure the email domain is in the allowed email domains list (if configured)

  • Have the customer request a new magic link β€” old ones expire after 15 minutes

Magic Link Expired

Magic links expire after 15 minutes for security. The customer should request a new one from the portal login page.

Email Domain Not Allowed

If you've configured allowed email domains for a customer, only emails from those domains can access the portal. Check the customer record to verify the domain list.

Session Expired

Portal sessions last 72 hours by default. After expiration, the customer needs to request a new magic link. You can adjust the session duration in the customer record.
